In a hotly contested year, this years 'most improved player trophy' was awarded to Co-Principle Cornet Verity Brown, who along with Kate McDonald stepped up to the principle positions in September as some of the older players went off to University. Verity has had a tough year with illness but has still managed to make rehearsals and functions as well as improve her playing and tone noticeably. Well done Verity!!!
